Project Description | Mi2 and Visa has worked together many times over the last 10 years, Thus when Visa wanted to transform their Visa Beijing office from a traditional cubicle office with perimeter offices to a modern workplace, they turn to Mi2 who understand both the mindsets of their international management and local staff in China. Mi2 having studied the new office location in central CBD, decided to give the panoramic views on the 48th floor Visa most important people – Its clients and its staff. All staff has windows facing workstations and there was no perimeter office for any staff, including the CEO. Mi2 adopted a clean office neutral palette with accent colors in various support areas while retaining the Visa signature blue for its most important room – The Board room. Being in China, one has to take into account fengshui elements when designing the office, and for this office, Mi2 incorporated “water element” into the office workplace with the use of s strategically placed fish tank. The multi-colored lines in the carpet add a sense of brightness to the overall place and promotes a sense of optimism and active vibe into this modern workplace. |
